Product Designer (UI/UX )

Job description

We’re looking for an empathetic problem-solver, experienced in interactive product design, to help us deliver the best experience when planning and prioritising asset maintenance.

We are a crazy ambitious team that aim to revolutionise how companies operate, starting off with the energy & utilities and heavy industry sectors. To achieve this, we are building a powerful prediction engine that allows us to predict failures of mission-critical equipment weeks or months before they actually happen.

You’ll be working on a product that must break down complicated solutions and deliver crucial value-add insights to the user. You’ll be designing an experience for sophisticated customers who work in global companies, so there is an opportunity to make a really big impact. You will be working together tightly with an experienced product lead and a full-stack developer to overhaul and improve a product suite that is about to create big waves in the (renewable) energy sector!

We have made a list of requirements, skills and traits that we feel would fit this job. Do you recognise yourself in the following person?

  • UX: You think about the whole product experience, and conceive consistent user facing solutions.
  • UI: You design and deliver efficient and elegant user interface for all mediums.
  • Prototyping: You can quickly translate mockups into interactive prototypes using tools like Invision.
  • User testing: You have experience testing solutions with users and extract insights.
  • Collaboration: You value collaboration and are at your best when you’re part of a team.

About you

  • You have developed a portfolio with detailed examples of beautiful and effective interaction design.
  • You are flexible; we’re a young startup and you’ll be designing lots of fun things.
  • You are fluent in English, and as a bonus would also happily communicate in HTML and CSS.
  • You’re ready to start working with us on a part-time basis at our office in Lisbon.
  • You are eligible to work in the European Union.
